Multimedia Centre «Cherkasskiye House»

Address: Sovetskaya Street, 90 In December, 2000 the multimedia centre was opened in this building. Earlier the building was used as museum-cultural centre (restored in 90 - 96) - monument of architecture of XX c.

Professor Vladimir Mikhaylovich Cherkassky(1905-1998) lived and worked in this house. He was the scientist - hydromechanic and heating engineer, honorary member of some academies of Russia, deep connoisseur of history and literature, fine art and public life of Russia. The multimedia centre is supplied with modem audio-, video and computer equipment. Yuryevets young generation can get acquainted with works of art, become proficient in computers, watch videofilms.
